Dinner is served poolside with a range of choices each week from International buffet, Barbeque, Seafood buffet or Italian buffet. You can watch on the poolside stage the evening entertainment which ranges from live Roots music band, Gambian musicians and dancers, local Fula acrobats or an African ballet group. For the late nighters why not continue in our air conditioned Disco bar, at the Palm Beach hotel, until your very last dance. Gamblers can chance their luck in one of the local casinos and maybe you will meet the Dawn Chorus bird watching safari leaving the hotel as your return. Other facilities we offer are a small mini-market with local crafts, toiletries, sun cream, toys and gifts and all the essentials. This is located near the main hotel reception. We also offer A la Carte menu in the main dining room or an authentic Chinese Restaurant for that special evening meal. The internet café in the Palm Beach Hotel can be booked for your convenience with a range of up to date computers so you can surf the web or just keep in contract with your friends and relatives by e-mail. There are many opportunities for taking Safaris to see The Gambia, the mangroves, the local culture, the magnificent bird life, empty beaches, the capital Banjul, local towns and markets, deep sea fishing off the beach, horse riding, quad biking or even view the Gambia from the air in a piloted micro-light plane. These can all be booked at the main reception where we will be happy to organise your itinerary. We also offer currency exchange at the hotel reception at all hours. There are electronically control safes in each room for your valuables and swipe cards are available in our reception.

Then after breakfast the swimming pool terraces with sun loungers and sun-shaded tables become the central focus of the Hotel day. Cold drinks and snakes can de served to your lounger or you can take the shade and be served in the poolside bar and restaurant. Beyond the pool area is a hotel exit that leads you onto Bird watchers walk. Opposite is the main drive that leads to The Palm Beach Hotel, our sister establishment, where you are most welcome. On either side of the drive you can observe the famous wetland bird paradise that has a recording of 100 different species spotted in one week. The beautiful sandy beach is just a minute’s walk from the hotel entrance where you can swim in the sea, beach comb, fish, or just stroll. The Eldorado Bach bar offers cold drinks and snacks served to you in the shade of the raised bar or to your beach sun lounger under the green palms. The hours just drift away to the sun waves arriving on Gambia’s smiling coast with the breeze blowing through the palm trees.
