HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Hibiscus House is a small, private and personal family-run hotel set in the heart of an African Village. It's unique location within the local community makes it possible to experience the real Gambia as well as explore the coastline, river and bolons. Hibiscus House is set within beautiful relaxing tropical gardens. The seven garden rooms are set around the pool, jacuzzi and bantaba.
With tremendous help from my two sons, I have created Hibiscus House and this will be your home for as long as you stay. Whatever you would like to do, wherever you wish to visit, we will endeavour to make it happen for you. |

Breakfast
Each morning a Continental African or Cooked Breakfast is offered either at the poolside or on your private terrace. Breakfast is included in the price of your room and is served until 11am. (For early risers a take away breakfast can be arranged)
• Fresh seasonal fruits (mangos, oranges, papaya, passion fruit, pineapples, bananas and water melon)
• Fresh homemade seasonal juices
• Chakry (African style yoghurt)
• Tapalapa (locally baked bread)
• Peanut Butter and Jams (produced in The Gambia)
• Cooked Breakfast
Lunch & Evening Meal
They offer lunch and evening meals in either one of the two restaurants.
Hibiscus Dining
Meals can be enjoyed at the poolside, in the bantaba or in Hibiscus House.
The Blue Bar and Garden
The Blue Bar is a local venue offering food and entertainment for both hotel guests and local residents. |
