If you're lazy of course you can take a taxi but with Nairobi's traffic congestion that may not be any quicker. DESCRIPTION : At the very end of Nairobi’s Harry Thuku road at the foot of Museum Hill, lies an unexpected oasis, that is, the Hotel Boulevard. It is located within four and a half acres of lush gardens bounded by the Nairobi River at the back, on the other side of which are the green precincts of the National Museum of Kenya. ACCOMMODATION : There are 70 double bedrooms, (bathroom en suite) all currently under a stringent refurbishment program that comprises significant improvements — showers, baths and bidets in all bathrooms, and a bedroom “revamp” that provides improved lighting and new, tastefully chosen soft furnishing. There are two wings, namely the POOL WING and the GARDEN WING. Each room has its own private balcony. All rooms have a minibar, safe, TV, radio, internet facilities, and direct dial telephones and are served by a 24 hour beverage delivery service.

FACILITIES : The hotel boasts a well kept outdoor swimming pool and gravel tennis court. There are two conference rooms, designed to cater for 30. The terraces surrounding the dining room are always a popular venue where guests frequently enjoy their sundowners outside, especially when the weather is warm and dry. There is a residents’ lounge for all hotel guests. The car parking is spacious and secure.
