Day 01 ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport and transferred to Intercontinental hotel.

This is a 5* Star hotel in the city center neighbouring Kenya Parliament, Uhuru Park and City Hall and with the beautiful Nairobi tree lined streets surrounding it.

Lunch and dinner on own arrangements.

Overnight at the Intercontinental hotel– Bed & Breakfast.

Day 02 NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Buffet breakfast at Intercontinental hotel.

0900 hrs. Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive will take you past the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley where your driver/guide will stop at a strategic viewpoint for photography.

1230 hrs. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

1600 hrs. Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.

The Lake Nakuru National Park is world famous for the pink flamingos which number thousands upon thousands. The rare black rhino, the white rhino and many other wild animals can also be found here.

There is a very high chance of seeing the nocturnal and very elusive leopard.

Day 03 LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Buffet breakfast at Lake Nakuru Lodge

0800 hrs. Morning drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve.

1300 hrs. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Afternoon game viewing drive.

The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events. This is the traditional land of the Masai people, nomadic herders who choose a traditional lifestyle and who are permitted to graze their cattle in the area. A proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years. The park's habitats include the forests along the banks of the Mara and Talek Rivers, acacia forests and open savannah.

Day 04 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Another day spent in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the rolling plains, woodland and rivers that make up the Mara.

There are very high chances of seeing the 'big five'

All meals at the lodge.

Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

 Day 05 MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI - DEPART

Buffet breakfast at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Drive out of Maasai Mara headed for Nairobi.

Lunch on own arrangements on arrival in Nairobi.

Later we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight OR a stay at the coastal town of Mombasa at an extra cost.
