South" is the first and only 'boutique' hotel on the island
of Mauritius, small and luxurious, in a scenic, tropical beachfront
setting.
This charming haven of
refinement and serenity offers 27 rooms and two suites, set
in a small coconut grove surrounded by private estates, on the
waterfront overlooking the elegant and vibrant location of Grand
Baie.
The decor of the hotel
is exclusively by the Belgian interior designer FLAMANT.
The hotel is managed by
the proprietors themselves, Anne and Michel Bourgeois, who are
proud to maintain a very discreet, stylish and friendly ambience,
synonymous with the boutique hotel concept. |

: The accommodation comprises 27 rooms, each
individually designed and furnished, and 2 sumptuous suites,
all rooms overlooking the bay. The restaurant provides breakfast,
a la carte lunch, afternoon tea, and the table d'hôte
dinner is the creation of the hotel's top Belgian chef. |
