Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita offers 123 spacious villas and residence villas designed to inspire connection with the natural surroundings. Large windows and doors allow seamless indoor-outdoor living. Views in all directions – from the calm, quiet lagoon to the backdrop of the Bambou Mountains – are overlaid with a sense of peaceful seclusion.

Tranquil décor rich with natural woods, volcanic stone and other indigenous materials brings the flavour of Mauritius indoors. Thatched-roof architecture is filled with surprising design touches, modern artwork and Four Seasons space and comforts.

All accommodations feature a private landscaped terrace with plunge pool, an open-air bathroom with deep soaking tub and a private exotic outdoor garden shower, and high-tech convenience with plasma televisions, DVD players, iPod docking stations, wireless Internet connectivity and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Our Garden Pool Villas, Mangrove Pool Villas and residence villas are situated on the mainland. Lagoon Pool Villas and the Presidential Suite are located on our private 4.5-hectare (11-acre) island, Ile aux Chats.

Four restaurants and the casual O-Bar ensure a tempting array of choices at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita – most with views from the very edge of the water. At Le Club, diners enjoy green perspectives of the 18th hole.

Acquapazza:
In a stunning open-air setting looking across the lagoon on the Resort's private island, Ile aux Chats, Acquapazza serves contemporary Italian cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. For dinner, authentic and contemporary Italian regional dishes and seafood are served in a warm, elegant and casual atmosphere. Acquapazza offers an extensive list of at least a hundred Italian wines. The restaurant's private dining room is ideal for small gatherings. A children's menu is available for the younger guests.

Beau Champ:
Overlooking the bridge over the lagoon, this contemporary steakhouse, featuring an open-concept kitchen, offers an elegant and unique dining experience. Its open wine cellar is the ideal place for an exclusive wine tasting, and features more than 200 labels with a focus on French wines. In addition to indoor dining, guests may choose from three outdoor dining pavilions that can serve as private dining spaces and are separated by an impressive water setting. Open for breakfast and dinner, Beau Champ is a comfortable, intimate, informal yet elegant restaurant.

Bambou:
Situated on the Resort's private island, Ile aux Chats, and facing a white-sand beach, Bambou offers a relaxed poolside location with a focus on pan-Asian and Mauritian cuisine. One of the few restaurants on Mauritius with a teppanyaki grill, it also has a sushi bar and a bar that faces the ocean. The casual and spacious multi-level dining area offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Le Club:
Located in the Golf Clubhouse, Le Club overlooks the 18th hole and is the perfect spot to relax after a round of golf. Golfers and other guests may enjoy lunch, served à la carte. The roof of the Clubhouse has been designed to complement the backdrop of Bambou Mountain when seen from the 18th hole, with the visible support structure adding a dramatic contemporary feel to the traditional thatched roof.

O-Bar:
Adjacent to Beau Champ, overlooking the lagoon and the Resort's private island, Ile aux Chats, O-Bar offers a menu of fine wines and spirits, innovative cocktails and thirst-quenching beverages complemented by casual fare. This sophisticated yet comfortable bar and lounge is the prime destination for a pre-dinner cocktail or after-dinner cigar and cognac.

Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita:
Designed by Ernie Els, Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita is a 7,580-yard, 18-hole, par-72 championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees. Six stunning oceanfront holes culminate in a final shot that is among the most spectacular in the world. Built to USGA standards, it is the first of its kind in Mauritius. Carefully woven into the tropical sanctuary, the course is set against lush mountains and fringed by the vast crystal-clear lagoon. The Golf Academy offers instruction and private lessons, and the Clubhouse is equipped to enhance any golfer's game. The club also features a driving range, putting green and Pro Shop.

• Tee times are available from 07:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. daily.
• One-hour golf clinics are offered daily on a complimentary basis to Resort guests.

Complimentary Golf Cart/Green Fees/Golf Balls:
Complimentary use of a golf cart with GPS + Green Fees + Golf Balls are offered to registered Four Seasons guests with reservations (valid until 11th January 2012).

Spa:
Located on the soothing waters of the Indian Ocean, the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is nestled in vibrant mangrove islets beaming with vitality. The collection of therapies reflects the cultural mosaic of Mauritius, drawing on Indian, African, Chinese and European traditions while employing natural indigenous ingredients. Two Aqua Vichy rooms offer the opportunity to truly relax, with purifying saunas, ice fountains, steam rooms and handcrafted mangrove Vichy showers. Six double treatment suites equipped with steam and outdoor showers are a perfect sanctuary for a couple's retreat.

In-room massage and spa services:

• In-room massages are available. Poolside massages, manicures and pedicures are available daily from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm, weather permitting.
• Group yoga classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. Private Sessions are available upon request.

Fitness Facilities:
Immersed in the serenity of lush tropical gardens, the Resort's state-of-the-art fitness centre offers a calm oasis for the fitness enthusiast, with a semi-Olympic lap pool, Technogym equipment, an aerobics studio and spinning bikes. Infinity-Edge pool:
The infinity-edge pool is located on the Resort's private island of Ile aux Chats, facing the picturesque turquoise lagoon. With the breathtaking effect of floating above the lagoon, the infinity-edge pool is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing swim while appreciating the beautiful view of the ocean and nearby islands.

Tennis:
Players of all levels can enjoy the two Astro Wimbledon synthetic grass tennis courts managed by Peter Burwash International (PBI). Equipment is available at the Pro Shop, where lessons can also be arranged with the resident PBI tennis professional. PBI offers a complete range of instructional programmes, including private and semi-private lessons, weekly clinics, vigorous drill sessions and more.

Water Sports:
An extensive selection of equipment and activities can be enjoyed on the Resort's turquoise lagoon. Choose from:

The resort goes out of its way to make the youngest guests feel welcome, and the resourceful Concierge is always close at hand – to make reservations for a family dinner, arrange a trip to the Sugar Adventure, organise a birthday party or help arrange a babysitter.

Kids For All Seasons:
A colourful haven of fun and adventure for children aged 4 to 12 years, the Kids’ Club Village includes its own swimming/paddling pool, amphitheatre, bakery, quiet room, film-viewing area, playground and playroom, all supervised by friendly and dedicated Kids’ Club staff. The complimentary ‘Kids For All Seasons’ programme takes its inspiration from the Resort’s tropical environment, expansive grounds and traditional Mauritian elements.

Young Adults Centre:
For teenagers aged 13 and above, ‘Karokan’ offers a relaxing hangout away from the rest of the family. In addition to computers, pool table, table tennis, table football and video game consoles, the Centre has its own disco with a DJ balcony.

Children's amenities:
Before your stay, simply provide the resort with the names and ages of the children in your party so that the resort can be prepared with:

Upon request, and subject to availability:

With 24 hours' notice, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita can arrange reliable babysitting services for your little ones.
