Guest Room

All rooms are decorated in a refined style inspired by chic ethnic themes which conjure up an atmosphere that is both tropical and African.

Each of the rooms are spacious and comfortable and opens onto its own private and comfortable terrace, a stone’s throw away from the two swimming pools or on the edge of the beach.

The bathrooms reflect the latest in contemporary design, with their square basins and oval baths framed in black stone.

Balafon Restaurant:
The main restaurant for breakfast and dinner (buffet and tables d’hôtes) at Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort Mauritius. With its ethnic decor inspired by its name borrowed from that of an African musical instrument, the main restaurant, le Balafon, is without doubt the place to meet for breakfast. In the evening it is the setting for a delicious culinary voyage through varied cuisine themes.

Infinity Blue:
A beach restaurant to enjoy Mediterranean and seafood cuisine. Framed by the turquoise blue water of the lagoon and the swimming pool, Infinity Blue is the place to enjoy deliciously flavoured and colourful culinary delights, completely relaxed, with your toes in the sand. It has a Mediterrean menu with fish and seafood specialities ... all with stunning views over the lagoon ... sitting here one cannot but succumb to a feeling of harmony with nature.

A poolside restaurant for a light lunch (à la carte). For a light meal of salads and sandwiches at the main swimming pool at lunchtime.

Le Château de Bel Ombre:
An enchanting setting of a 19th century manor house to discover the treasures of typical Mauritian cuisine. Set in grounds with large trees, overlooking a captivating French style garden, the Château of Bel Ombre is an exceptionally enchanting setting to discover the treasures of typical Mauritian cuisine while enjoying a breathtaking view on the mountains, the ocean and the golf.

• Open for Dinner: 7pm – 10:00pm.
• Service: ‘à la carte’, open for dinner - reservation required.
• Dress code: relaxed but chic from 7pm onwards.

Seven Colours Energy Cuisine:
A unique and innovative culinary experience designed to stimulate the chakras! (A la carte). A zen and design atmosphere for an innovative culinary experience of the senses inspired by the Seven Colours concept, presented in the various “colours” menus symbolising the 7 chakras.

Golf du Chateau:
An International golf course, in the heart of the unspoiled south of Mauritius - Attached to the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, the magnificent 18-hole ‘Golf du Château’ golf course which covers 100 hectares, is the masterpiece of architect Peter Matkovitch, of Peter Matkovich and Hayes the world renowned South African architectural practice.  Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course (Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories. The following golf facilities are available:

The Valriche Nature Reserve:

Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort offers its guests access to the Valriche nature reserve which - besides the exceptional character of its landscapes, is home to unique and protected fauna and flora.  Covering an area of 2 500 hectares, Valriche rises to 400m above the sea, where a mixture of dry forest and coastal rainforest is to be found.  The unique views, combining hilly landscapes, rolling plains and waterfalls (including the highest waterfall of the island, 162 meters high), deer breeding and an astonishing biodiversity of flora and fauna have enabled the development of tourism activities in harmony with nature.  Nature Activities:

Timomo & Friends Mini-clubwelcomes children aged 3 (if potty trained) to 11 years old to enjoy many fun activities.  Timomo is a caricatured Mauritian bird looking for a treasure at the end of the rainbow.  With the help of his friends, he discovers that he already possesses the most beautiful treasures of all; generosity and friendship.  Fun games and activities are organized around this concept in a lovely and secure environment under the good care of qualified hostesses. 

Kids - Some of the daily activities for kids include:
