Maritim Hotel Mauritius lies on a 25-hectare private estate known as Balaclava with tropical flowers, the mysterious “Ruins o Balaclava” and romantic waterfalls flowing into River “Citron”, along the beautiful Turtle Bay (between Port Louis and Grand Baie) on the northwest coast, which is the sunniest region of Mauritius. The distance to the airport is 60 km (45 min.). Ideally situated between Port Louis (capital) and the popular city Grand Baie both appr. 15 min. by car.

• Château Mon Desir, A new mansion harmoniously integrated in the Ruins of Balaclava; our exclusive "A la Carte" restaurant overlooks the historical surroundings with its Citron River and the Turtle Bay. The new MARITIM "Tropical Flower" Spa is a wonderful "oasis" dedicated to the great healing traditions of herbs and plants. With 12 treatment cabins, a dry massage pavilion, a hair salon, a stunning relaxation area located behind a romantic waterfall, a wet treatment area with whirlpool, sauna, hammam, experimental showers and a kneipp bath, all on 3500 m², guests are transferred into a realm of tropical beauty and well-being.

In addition to a full range of massages, such as the "Frangipane Relaxation Massage" or the "Rose Foot Reviver Massage", the MARITIM Spa offers a unique range of dry massages such as the "Bamboo Massage", where bamboo stems are used to stimulate pressure points all over the body and enhance a feeling of pure relaxation.

Golf at the 9-hole course (par 29), 2 different tees per hole, no greens fees for residents, Driving range and putting green, 3 floodlit tennis courts including rackets, games and competitions, such as beach volleyball, boccia, archery, table-tennis, mini golf, football, swimming pool, water skiing, wind surfing, sailing - hobie cats and lasers, canoeing, pedal boat, snorkelling and water polo.
