La
Pirogue Resort, Mauritius
Located on the west coast of Mauritius, running
along one of the island’s finest beaches, La Pirogue
is set in the midst of a vast, luxuriant tropical garden.
Close to Flic-en-Flac, the architecture has been inspired
by the sea and a fishing village atmosphere, from the fishing
boat, from which the hotel takes its name, to the main building
inspired by white sails floating in the wind and to the chalets
built in local style with volcanic rock and decked with wood
and thatch.
