DESCRIPTION
: The Menzeh Zalagh Hotel Fez was built in 1955
over a superficies of 9 000 mē in a green area. It is close
to Fes's captivating medina, surrounded by gardens in the heart
of the residential district of the new part of the city of Fes,
fifteen minutes walking from the attractions of the old city.
Fez has rightly been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Its walled medina is one of the most intact and impressive medieval
cities in the Islamic world and, taken as a whole, it is the
architectural highlight of Morocco. Fez also has a French-planned
new city (Ville nouvelle), and the contrast between the old
and the new sections makes sightseeing all the more fascinating.
You truly feel as if you are stepping into the past when you
walk through one of the gates to the old medina.

ACCOMMODATION : Each one of the 150 spacious rooms of the Menzeh Zalagh features
a complete private bathroom, separate toilet, air conditioning,
direct telephone line, satellite TV and video, smoke alarm,
a minibar and a strongbox. The rooms are well-decorated with
marble floors overlooking the pool or Medina area.
FOOD & BEVERAGE : The hotel makes three restaurants available to its guests. These
are a Moroccan traditional restaurant, an Italian style pizzeria
and an international cuisine restaurant. There is also an outdoor
barbeque snack bar. You can enjoy your drinks in the English-style
pub and at the elegant lounge bar or wine taste on the mezzanine.
Of course, room service is provided 24 hours a day and kosher
food is available on request. |

SPORT & LEISURE : The hotel has two swimming-pools with large sun terrace. One
is 300 sq. m with snack bar and the other is an American 150
sq. m swimming pool and barbeque. It provides facilities for
hammam (steam bath), sauna and beautiful Andalusian gardens
to take a walk in. There is also a night-club. Nearby there
are facilities for horseback riding and a 9-hole golf course.
USEFUL INFORMATION : The airport is 10 km away, only a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
The train station is 4 km away and the bus station 2 km away.
Voltage is set at 200V. Earliest check-in time is at 12:00.
The common areas are accessible to wheelchairs. Pets are allowed.
Currency exchange is available and there is always a doctor
on call.
