HOTEL DESCRIPTION: When you arrive at Marrakech airport, a taxi takes you in 10 minutes to Jama‘ El Fna, the grand plaza in the heart of the old city. And only 10 more minutes of walking later, you are in front of our inconspicuous door, behind which lies hidden a surprising haven of silence and tranquillity. Birds sing, the fountain splashes; orange and lemon trees are in blossom or bear fruit in glowing colours.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Our 14 suites and rooms are spread out over five interconnected patios and differ in size and decor. Double beds are all queen sized – except for those in the Blue House and the Petite Suite (140x200 cm). The 10 first-floor suites and rooms are air-conditioned. On the ground floor, the rooms are not air-conditioned. However, thetraditional Moroccan architecture with strong walls keep the rooms cooleven in summer.

HOTEL FACILITIES: A tour through courtyards, staircases and corridors of seven traditional houses forming the Riyad El Cadi gives a good impression of the ancient and pure forms of traditional Moroccan architecture.

Three salons and alcoves are the ideal setting for reading, playing cards, dozing or having a sun-downer. Have your meals served in the courtyards or our dining room. Extensive terraces, equipped with tents and deckchairs, invite you to rest or sunbathe.

The small pool with its Jacuzzi, our library with a fine assortment of books on Morocco, TV in the Palm House sitting room, WIFI in the main courtyard as well as our Hammam are at the disposal of all guests.

The Riyad El Cadi is not a hotel with indistinguishable rooms, but a guest house where all rooms are individually created. We aim to serve our guests without their being aware of it - as if they stayed with friends. Our excellent cook contributes to your well-being with a large variety of traditional Moroccan and international dishes. Our ladies at the reception are happy to help you organising your stay from morning until late at night. You will not find the usual hotel bar but it will be our pleasure to bring you your drinks wherever you are ... At Riyad El Cadi, a team of 17 - including Julia Bartels and Youssef Elharch - are on hand to cater to your every need.
