
HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Lagos Airport Hotel Limited, a subsidiary of Odu’a Investment Company, was incorporated in 1961, having started business as an owner managed hotel with 5 rooms in 1942 under the name “Grand Hotel", Lagos. It was renamed “Ikeja Arms Inn” in 1956 under the ownership and management of Mr. Joseph Harold, a Briton. The present owners bought the company through the Western Region Government in 1959.
Today the Hotel has 277 rooms comprising of one Monarchial Suite, Executive Suites, Presidential Suites, Executive/Business Suites, Standard/Executive Double, six (6) Halls made up of Ogun,Oyo and Ondo halls which are convertible to a single Banquet Hall. There are also Osun hall and modern Oranmiyan Hall capable of sitting over 1,000 guests. All Halls are equipped with effective Public Address Systems. Other facilities include: three (3) well-secured car parks, two (2) Restaurants, four (4) Bars and an Olympic-sized Swimming Pool.

Monarchial Suite Click for a larger view Originally built in 1942 and called the ARMS INN, it was refurbished and opened for services in 1992. This one story suite has its own garden and garage for 4 cars and a 2-room attachment to the building for attendants, with fan and music and a shared bathroom with shower. The ground floor has one office area, a reception and rest room, one sitting room with bathroom, refrigerator and 20" colour TV, a dinning room with kitchen (fully equipped with refrigerator) and pantry. Upper floor has a sitting room with a 20" colour TV, 2 master bedrooms, with large en suite baths and showers, generous wardrobe space, IDD telephones, 20" colour TV with satellite programming, piped music, refrigerator, mini sitting room (with view of garden).
HOTEL FACILITIES: Oranmiyan: Oranmiyan Hall can sit 1,000 guests without tables and 500 with Table arrangement. It is fitted with state of the art public address system.
Osun: Osun Hall can accommodate 150 guests. It is also possible to partition the hall into a smaller syndicate rooms for convenience of the working sessions.
Oyo: This Hall can accommodate 250 guests. It is also possible to partition the hall into a smaller syndicate rooms for convenience of the working sessions.
Flamingo: Situated at the lobby, it offers a wide range of beverages as well as liquor.Olokun: Olokun: Is a first class bar offering a wide variety of drinks.
Swimming Pool: This bar serves the swimmers at the pool side and offers many beverages as well as hot snacks. Resident: Serves Adebayo and Independence blocks, situated at the Independent block mainly for resident guest only which can also be used for small scale conference.
Odua: Odua: is a standard dinning restaurant offering fine dining with English, Italian as well as local dishes. It also offers Buffet from time to time. Sitting Capacity, 70.
Chinese restaurant: It offers a large variety of oriental cuisine and a bakers shop that offers pastry and snacks that you can either enjoy there or take away. Olumo: À la Cartè of International Standard dinning restaurant with a silver service. Sitting capacity, 50.
Swimming Pool This is located between Oranmiyan Hall and Independence Block. It is serviced by a bar and barbecue. Attendants are on duty during pool hours (0900 – 1800 hours daily), but the bar opens until 2230 hours. Swimming is free for residents, but children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by adults. The Lagos Airport Hotel swimming pool is the most standard in Lagos.
Recreational/Outdoor facilities We have adequate recreational facilities. These include ample space for jugging, snookers and table tennis. All these facilities are located around the swimming pool.
Car Park The hotel operates three well secured car parks. The ample parking spaces are easily accessible after the entry gate
Shopping Plaza A superb ultra-modern shopping plaza is located near the hotel's gate house. The shopping plaza/arcade consists of airline Reservations/booking office, beauty salons, boutique, special restaurants, X-ray laboratories, drug store etc.
Business Centre A well-equipped business centre is located near the Banquet Hall to facilitate processing of business plans and correspondences. The Business Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art information technology and communication facilities, laminators, spiral binding equipments and computer system.
