Somalia Passport and Visa Information

A visa is required by nationals of all countries specially for British, Austrian, USA, Canada and other European Citizens. This is required by all except transit passengers continuing their journey by the first connecting aircraft, provided holding onward or return documentation and not leaving the airport. There are 3 types of visa in Somalia Tourist, Business and Transit.

In entering Somalia a valid Passport is required. All visitors upon arrival must exchange US$100 or equivalent into local currency except for visitors under 18 years of age.
