Accommodation
at the Breakwater Lodge comprises 300 comfortable, welcoming and
attractively furnished bedrooms (including business and family
suites), with options ranging from twin, double and single rooms
with en-suite bath or shower, to single and twin rooms sharing
a shower. The rooms are all comfortable, welcoming and attractively
furnished and equipped with TV / radio and a direct-dial telephone.
If
you need a little refreshment, a welcome tray with biscuits and
the facility to make your own tea and coffee is supplied. Breakwater
Lodge is in a relaxed environment to put your feet up! So whether

RESTAURANT:
Stonebreakers
is a self service restaurant catering for all our guests, delegates
and students. It is situated on the ground floor of the amenities
block and in good weather has a patio with the best views of Table
Mountain, from the Waterfront.
The restaurant is open from 6.00am till 9.00pm serving breakfast,
lunch and dinner, offering a variety of different dishes. Stonebreakers
also caters for the peckish guest offering snacks, sandwiches,
drinks and beverages throughout the day.
TREADMILL
RESTAURANT AND BAR ~ The Treadmill Restaurant and Bar is a small
a la carte restaurant and bar operating 5 days per week. It is
open for lunches and dinners, has a formal dining area and a casual
coffee lounge area where excellent value for money “Pub Lunches”
are served. It is located on the first floor above Stonebreakers
and therefore also has breathtaking views of Table Mountain and
the City.
CONFERENCE & MEETINGS:
From its Portswood Ridge vantage point, the Breakwater Hotel commands a bird's eye view of the restored harbour, and forms part of the Breakwater Campus of the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business. The function venues are technologically advanced and equipped with modern state of the art audio-visual equipment, to facilitate virtually any type of conference or function.
The Breakwater Hotel has been impressively remodelled, though the essence of its historical design has been retained. It now offers a total of 300 bedrooms.
The prison building also accommodates the GSB's offices, lecture theatres, function venues and seminar rooms.
