LOCATION:The luxurious Grande Roche Hotel, Relais & Chateaux, is situated in the Paarl Winelands, set against the backdrop of a rugged mountain range and surrounded by ancient oaks and historic vineyards. The immaculately restored 18th century hotel offers 29 luxury suites and 5 executive rooms with features such as thatched roofs, bamboo and yellow wood ceilings.

ACCOMMODATION: The 29 suites and five standard rooms all have individual décor and furnishings. Two standard rooms have been specially equipped for the physically challenged. BUSINESS FACILITIES: Our perfectly appointed conference centre accommodating up to 200 people and our outdoor amphitheatre seating 350 serves the public and business community for launches, special functions and offers an ideal venue for the performing arts.

RESTAURANT: BOSMAN'S is a 70-seater restaurant with a terrace and patio seating 60 in fine weather. It is open seven days a week. For groups of seven or more, the Banqueting department will help to choose a menu to suit the guest and the occasion.

Bistro Allegro offers lighter variations catering from savoury to sweet - serving exotic salad dishes, seafood, pasta, delicious desserts, cakes, ice creams and cheese platters at prices ranging from R28 - R90. The wine list offers a selection of first and second label wines, half bottles or wine by the glass to complement your meal. At Grande Roche, dining at Bosman's or Bistro Allegro, you are assured of a gourmet extravaganza.

FACILITIES: Facilities All our Suites have a separate Lounge and Bedroom, while Standard Rooms have a combined bed/sitting room. All buildings have thatched roofs and ceilings, (some rooms have reed ceilings), are air-conditioned and have remote control Satellite TV; direct dial telephones and Internet dial-up facilities; heated towel racks; minibar and 24 hour Room Service.
