at the Protea Hotel President comprises 349 well-appointed rooms
and suites on the Bantry Bay beachfront. In accordance with new
smoking legislations, the hotel now offers two non-smoking floor,
consisting of 120 dedicated non-smoking rooms.
Room choices range from Standard Rooms and Junior Suites to Superior
and Executive Suites. All rooms and suites contain a remote control
television, hairdryer, telephone, sleeper couch, individual air
conditioning, room safe and electronic locking devices on all
doors.
Our
recent refurbishment has seen all of our passageways recarpeted
and repainted, to create a warm and welcoming feeling for our
valued GUESTS.
RESTAURANT:
The
Islands Restaurant serves a sumptuous buffet breakfast, a la carte
lunch and buffet dinner. Varied entertainment - in the form of
Bands and a pianist, or wine tasting - create the ideal atmosphere
for GUESTS wishing to relax and enjoy a splendid meal.
For GUESTS who wish to savour a light meal or beverage whilst
taking in a spectacular view, the Terrace is the ideal venue.
The Senate Bar is open from 2pm till late and the STAFF look forward
to serving you the cocktail of your choice. There is also a lounge
area in which GUESTS may relax with sundowners.
CONFERENCE & BANQUETING
FACILITIES: 3
conference rooms can be converted into 1 or 2 larger conference
rooms. Each conference room holds 100 delegates in cinema style
and 60 guests banquet style . Combined, the seating capacity increases
to 350 delegates in cinema style and 220 guests in banquet style.
1 boardroom is available, accommodating up to 8 delegates . If
