LOCATION : Situated
in the heart of the Little Karoo, Oudtshoorn is famous for
its ostriches and is a convenient stopover on the Garden
Route.
This beautiful and historic Southern Cape town can be reached
by road, passing through some of Southern Africa`s most
picturesque mountain passes.
The Protea Hotel Riempie Estate is a 15-minute walk from
the town centre and only 20 minutes by car from the world
famous Cango Caves and Ostrich farms. |
ACCOMMODATION
: Accommodation establishment on our premises consist of 17 rondavels and 23 chalets. The stylishly decorated thatched roof units has there own private entrance and consist of the usual every day comforts.
All rooms are en suite with bath and/or shower, air-conditioning, TV with eTV/Sabc1/Sabc2/Sabc3/M-Net and tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer.
One of the rondavels is wheelchair friendly, designed especially for disabled people, with a roll-in shower and fold down chair.
Mini Bar Fridge & cots are available on request.
Some of the rooms feature safety deposit facilities, else it is available at reception.
The units are situated in a child friendly environment, offering a separate playground. |
