HOTEL FACILITIES: Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurant Reuben’s at The Robertson Small Hotel, as far as possible, uses natural and seasonal produce and demonstrates a progression towards organic. The cuisine is eclectic with a concentration and focus given to the best local and seasonal produce available. The free-range duck eggs, which serve as an alternative to conventional chicken eggs, are sourced from a local farm and exhibit rich, nutty flavours. Free-range local pork and bacon, as well as dairy products and fresh produce are all sourced locally. With our executive Chef, Aviv Liebenberg and Pastry Chef, Christien van der Westhuizen, Reuben’s at The Robertson Small Hotel is an epicurean’s ecstasy.
Cuisine: The menu - designed by Reuben and the delightful duo, Aviv and Christien – offers patrons a myriad of dishes to suit every palate and reveals a constant striving for the ultimate synergy of texture, flavour and juiciness. The dishes are ever-changing eclectic combinations of flavours evocative of memory, experience and innovation.
Wine: The diverse and delectable dishes served in the restaurant will, needless to say, be accompanied by an extensive and all-encompassing wine-list to cater for all tastes. These fine wines are stored in a state-of-the-art wine cellar that boasts contemporary square-edge shelving with classic pewter frames creating proportions, detail and depth.

With a century and a half of richly diverse history, legacy and heritage, the number of national heritage sites in this charming town is hardly astounding. One such building is Zandvliet, on 58 van Reenen Street, built in 1909, now coined the Manor House, the heart of The Robertson Small Hotel to which all sinews are interconnected.
