Sinbad Hotel Hammamet

Location : This fully air - conditioned luxury hotel is located right on beach of the Gulf of Hammamet. The Sinbad Hotel is set in a large park with beautiful trees and located right on the beach. Each room is tastefully decorated yet luxurious in its decor with a view of the beach or the gardens from each of the bay windows.

The newer luxury hotels in Tunisia’s most popular resort may be more sumptuous, but the country’s fashionable folk still flock to the Sindbad Hotel.

As one of Hammamet’s first hotels it understandably has a fine beach location, a mile or so south of the kasbah. Its gardens are a delight, full of sweet-smelling flowers, exotic trees and chirping birds. The beach club, Les Voiliers, is renowned for its food, as is Le Chiraz, the à la carte restaurant opening out to the sheltered pool.

Guests on half board enjoy waiter-service in the candle-lit Sheherazad, except on one evening a week, when there is a spectacular buffet enlivened by a folklore group. The atmosphere is quiet without being stuffy, and many employees have been at the hotel for years.

The Sindbad is one of the founder members of the Citrus golf course, hence guests enjoy some particularly favourable concessions.

Accommodation : There are 142 rooms, comfortable double or twin-bedded rooms, equiped with bathroom, independant WC, terrace or private balcony (built in a bungalow style), with individual air conditioning or heating,
