Weather and Climate in Tunisia

Tunisia has a warm climate all year. Best periods are spring and autumn. Temperatures can be extremely high inland. Winter is mild and has the highest rainfall.

Lightweights in summer, mediumweights and rainwear in winter. Sunglasses are advised.

The northern area of Tunisia has a Mediterranean climate, hot dry summers and cool rainy winters. Average temperatures from May to October are 19°C to 26°C. August is the hottest month. April and May weather is unpredictable. In the winter rain is frequent, temperatures averaging 10°C to 13°C.
