The resort is set out on a rolling coral slope with a magnificent, expansive white sand beach on the sea front. Amaan kendwa boasts of 21 sea view rooms and 18 garden view rooms.The 10 rooms right up the cliff on the beach from are the premium sea view rooms. On a raised platform about 2 minutes walk from the beach are the standard sea view rooms that are 11 in number.The 18 garden view rooms are spread out in between the two rows of the sea view rooms and behind the standard sea view rooms near the reception.

PREMIUM SEA VIEW ROOMS – numbered 1 – 10 right on the beach front. Most popular rooms at the resort. Clean, spacious and well appointed with air conditioning, hot and cold showers and a choice of either two twin beds, or 1 double bed or 3 to 4 single beds in the family options.

STANDARD SEA VIEW ROOMS – numbered 110 – 121 are 2 minutes uphill walk from the beachfront. Similar to the premium sea view units but on a raised platform offering a stunning ocean view and panoramic sunset viewing spot.

GARDEN VIEW ROOMS – numbered 22 – 33 placed on either side and in facing in between the premium and standard sea view rooms. 34 – 39 placed right at the top adjacent to the reception. These are non-air conditioned and also offer hot and cold-water showers and mosquito netting and window netting.

Apart from the accommodation units the resort is served by a well-reknowned restaurant, TITANIC. Here you need to reserve your table early, as it has fast become the place to eat along this side of Zanzibar. With our well trained and vastly experienced chef’s, the Titanic restaurant serves a wide variety covering all cuisines – oriental, continental, African and snacks. Open right from 7.30am for breakfast, meals are served throughout the day and a variety of drinks are available at the Titanic Bar within. Try out the wine selection, sundowner cocktails and cold beers.
