• FAT HARRY'S. If you’re looking for a good time, Fat Harry’s beach bar and snack-bar is the place to be. It’s set beneath a thatched roof with a sunken bar and beautiful deck stretched out over crystal blue waters. During the day there’s no shortage of scenic views, as you sit back and enjoy a few cocktails and evening time is party time! Fat Harry’s is open from 10am until late.
  
• THE RESORT SHOP. Spend a little time browsing around the Zanzibar Beach Resort shop offering local gifts and souvenirs as well as those little essentials.

ACTIVITIES

• FISHING. Deep sea and game fishing expeditions are available on 15 and 22 foot ski boats. All fishing trips can be arranged through the resort as well as a fishing excursion with the Zanzibar locals aboard a traditional Dhow. The Zanzibar Beach Resort has already achieved fishing accolades. Honours go to Jason Wright for holding the all Africa record for the largest Wahoo caught on one of the resorts fishing trips.
  
• BEACH ACTIVITIES. Zanzibar is home to some of the most pristine beaches in the world. White sand, palm trees, beautiful shells and crystal clear ocean waters are a highlight of this paradise island.
  From relaxing and soaking up the sun to volleyball, bike riding, petanque, jogging and beach games, you can make the most of all the exciting activities on offer. Horse riding as well as motorbike hire can also be arranged for trips along the beach.
  
• KIDS PLAYGROUND . The resort features an extensive playground including a shaded paddling pool, 9 hole mini golf course, a clubhouse, jungle gyms and in-season activities programmes.
  
• SCUBA DIVING. Living reefs and year round warm water surround the islands of the archipelago. Along with excellent visibility and very few currents, the area is ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike.
  There are dive training courses and all the necessary dive gear available at the resort. Explore the many top dive sites around the island including, the walls of the Mnemba Island Atoll, Leven Bank, Bawe Island, Prison Island, Menai Bay, The Great Northerner Wreck and Pange Sand Bank.
  
• TOURS . Travel the islands in a luxury air conditioned bus while a qualified guide shows you the sights of Stone Town, Zanzibar's capital and largest city. Enjoy the natural scenery with a visit to Jozani Forest and Zala Park. The spice tour is a must. Head out with a guide for an exciting excursion, sampling the spices of Zanzibar, which grow wild around the island.
  Spend an adventurous day sight seeing at the ancient ruins of Zanzibar's Old Fort, Hamamni Turkish Baths, Maruhubi Palace, Mtoni Palace, Kidichi Persian Baths, Kizimbani Baths, Fukuchani Ruins, Tumbatu Ruins, Dunga Palace of the Mwinyi Mkuu, Mangapwani Cave and Cave Chambers, Bi Khole ruins and the Kizimkazi Mosque.
  
• WATER SPORTS & ACTIVITIES.
