The elegant La Fontaine, its huge windows overlooking the

with a full English and Continental breakfast. A new Savoy-style
grillroom menu at La Fontaine, blends well-loved grillroom
classics with entirely new dishes that combine unusual but
delightful flavours and textures in a heady mix of the familiar
and the exotic. The La Fontaine menu is a journey of discovery
in flavour and ingredients in a sublime setting. The adjoining
Can Can bar gives our guests a secluded and sophisticated
place for a drink before lunch or dinner. Dress - smart casual.

The
Pool Desk

You can swim with the eagles on the Meikles Pool Deck, high
above the busy city. You can do much more than swim - the
pool deck houses the hotel's fitness centre and sauna as well
as the resident beautician, while a bar and snack menu helps
you relax in a sunny holiday setting.

The
Tea Lounge
Open daily and is known as the meeting place.
Teas, Coffee and speciality pastries
Since its doors first opened in 1915, business people, farmers
and friends have made Meikles their rendezvous. `Meet you
at Meikles' is still the invitation to a scrumptious morning
or afternoon tray of tea or coffee and a cake or light snack.
The raised lounge, leading off the lobby of the hotel, also
caters for a different kind of appetite - music lovers make
a point of stopping by to hear the daily recitals on the lounge's
grand piano.
