The Dove Cove Hotel, just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular white sand beach of Fort James and the historical fort, a secluded, informal, all-suite apartment hotel set amongst manicured tropical gardens and complemented with an attractive swimming pool. Shopping With a trip to St John’s only 10 minutes drive there are lots of opportunities for excellent shopping. For food there is the Epicurean at the Woods Shopping Centre, the Market in St John’s is an excellent place to buy fresh produce – and then for luxury items and gifts Heritage and Redcliffe Quay’s in town have some wonderful shops to browse through.

SPORTS
Close to the National Fitness Centre for those who don’t want to stop their exercise program, Cedar Valley Golf Club is only a 10 minutes drive away, and there are water sports available on nearby beaches form jet ski’s to snorkelling, sailing and kayaking. Try kite surfing at Jabberwock Beach on the north coast – only 15 minutes drive away.
