The Grand Royal Antiguan Beach Resort is a full-service 4-star Antigua resort offering 265 spacious guest rooms and 12 one-bedroom-cottages. Guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets, a protected cove, a secluded ½-mile beach, and much more. Choose between the Grand Royal Antiguan's All-Inclusive and European plus Packages. As a full-service Caribbean beach hotel, the resort offers three restaurants, five bars, an Internet café, boutique shopping, electronic casino, gym, water sports, freeform freshwater pool with swim-up bar, children's activities, playground and nightly entertainment.

Recently renovated, Grand Royal Antiguan's guest rooms exude a tropical radiance that reflects the vibrant, natural beauty of the Caribbean. We have 265 luxury guest rooms situated in two wings of the 8-story main building. Twelve one-bedroom cottages are located in a 2-story building with a poolside view. All of our Antiguan resort accommodations have cool tiled floors, with love seats and wing chairs covered in bright, tropical prints that complement the bedspreads and drapes. All rooms have a similar layout with the option of one king-sized bed or two double beds. Rooms feature large bathrooms with shower/tubs, marble vanities and complimentary toiletries. Guestrooms also have air-conditioning, cable television, direct-dial phone, clock radio, and a key card lock system. Our ocean view and Lagoon view rooms provide a panoramic vista of the Lagoon or ocean.

Mountain View Rooms: Spacious rooms with a mountain view located on the rear side of the main tower. These rooms have no patio or balcony and are the only rooms where children younger than 8yrs may stay. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons.

Lagoon View Rooms: These rooms are located on the 1st through 4th floors of the main tower and possess an exquisite view of the lagoon. Each has a private balcony or patio. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons.

Ocean View Rooms: Located on the 5th through 8th floors of the main tower. These Deluxe Antiguan resort accommodations have a panoramic view of the ocean from their private balconies or patios. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons.

Cottages: We offer 12 one-bedroom cottages in a two-story building located in the tropical gardens near the pool. Each cottage has a private patio or balcony and offer larger accommodations than the other Antiguan guest rooms we offer. Cottages feature a separate living room and wet bar, in addition to the amenities of rooms listed above. Only king-sized beds are available, and children younger than 8yrs are not permitted in these rooms.

The Andes shipwreck of 1907 (just 100 yards offshore) is abundant with marine life and a proven thrill for snorkelling and diving. Fort Barrington, also the name given to our fine-dining restaurant, has a hilltop lookout established in 1779 that's just a 15-minute hike from the hotel's beach. This fort saw the most military action in Antigua's history and makes an interesting walking tour. The hotel's activity staff also conduct nature and village tours.
