A few years ago we discovered a spectacularly beautiful hidden bay in one of the most secluded corners of the island which had been in private ownership for over a hundred years. Twenty five private, secluded and extraordinarily spacious Cottage Suites have now been built to blend into the natural landscape with nothing else but your comfort in mind. They nestle on a spectacular bay edging the turquoise water of the Caribbean against a backdrop of terraced gardens. Our staff have been carefully selected for their friendliness, efficiency and attentiveness. Their job is to provide discreet and outstanding service, making sure that you have everything you need at all times during your stay.

Location
Hermitage Bay Hotel is situated on the west coast of Antigua, just a 35 minute drive from the airport. The capital, St John's, is 30 minutes away by car and the Jolly Harbour marina complex of shops, restaurants, golf and tennis is just 10 minutes away.

Cottage Suites Each of our spacious individual, shingle roofed Cottage Suites captures the charm of the island’s colonial past, yet has all the amenities of a modern-day luxury resort. The eight Beach Cottage Suites are set back from the 1250 feet long bay. There are two rows of Suites, those in the front row have panoramic views of the beach, while the others enjoy a partial view. The spacious bedroom which has a ceiling fan is air conditioned, has a King sized bed and is split level to the lounge area. The Hillside Cottage Suites offer spectacular views and are designed to provide complete privacy, each with its own large plunge pool and sunbathing deck complete with chaise lounge and sitting area. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and is air conditioned, with a King sized bed leading in to the bathroom. All Suites have a large verandah with double day beds and plantation chairs. Spacious and luxurious bathrooms are complemented by the outdoor garden shower. Each Suite is fitted with an LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, personal safe, iPod docking station, wireless broadband internet, mini bar, personal safe, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Cusine To complete the ultimate package, we have found a superb chef who can deliver the kind of food we had in mind - delicious, made from fresh, natural ingredients. Our beachfront restaurant now boasts some of the best food on the island. Under the direction of our head chef it offers a varied menu of both Caribbean favourites and modern european cooking with an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant's idyllic location makes it the perfect choice for al fresco dining, but we are just as happy to serve your meal in the privacy of your Cottage Suite or by the pool if you prefer.

Service
Service at Hermitage Bay is friendly and discreet.   Our staff   have one aim and that is to accommodate your every request. We want you to start your holiday in style so our Room Ambassadors will personally check you into your Cottage suite, whilst you unwind and recover from your journey with a cool drink.   If you wish, they can even take care of all your unpacking.

Beachside
Non-motorised water sports are available on the beach.   Our staff are always on hand for sailing and windsurfing instruction.  

Or, if you prefer to relax more sedately, just lounge with a book on the beach or by the pool in one of our comfortable chaise-longues. Public areas are designed to suit your mood.   If you are feeling outgoing, the pool deck may be the place for you.   If you want a little more seclusion, private areas of garden are there to be discovered.
