ROOM FEATURES

The comfortable bungalows are available with either two queen beds or one king bed. We also offer larger bunalows with two queen beds and a side room with two twin beds. These larger rooms are perfect for a family of four. A roll away cot can be brought in for one additional person.

Each bungalow is steps away from the water and contains cool Italian tile floors, air conditioning, coffee maker, hair dryer and ceiling fans. Bungalows are also equipped with small refrigerators and personal safes

Activities

The waters off Long Island have some of the Bahamas’ finest saltwater fishing. A variety of sport fish are caught year round. Whether you wade out to the shallow tidal flats or take a deep sea expedition, the fishing at Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort will make you feel alive!

Hovering over crystal clear water eight to twenty-four inches deep, you can spend hours casting into schools of Bonefish visible below. You’ll be amazed by the scrappy Bonefish — pound for pound the strongest fighting fish in the world!

Bahamas scuba diving is an experience to behold. Go face to face colorful fish in their natural environment and explore ship wrecks from days gone by. Or dive the wall at Conception Island Marine Park — a protected sanctuary that is home to every conceivable underwater plant, mammal and fish.

Snorkeling expeditions are also available at the resort. Glide through the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and see hundreds of technicolor fish, rays and sea turtles.

LOCATION

Cape Santa Maria is located on the northwest coast of Long Island, in the temperate southern Bahamas. The main geographical feature is a shallow, sheltered bay lined by white sandy beaches and lush green plant life. The resort can be found at the north end of the bay, near the settlement of Stella Maris.
