Dining

Meals at Fernandez Bay Village have such a reputation for taste and ambiance, they attract boaters and private pilots from throughout the Bahamas and South Florida. Served buffet style guests come early to mix and mingle at
the tikibar.

There's always a stalk of bananas hanging around or seasonal mangoes, papaya, watermelon, tomatoes and limes filling the fruit basket for a quick snack.

Dinners are relaxed candle lit affairs on the beach terrace around a blazing bon fire. Shoes are not part of the dress code. And the beachfront tiki-bar runs on the honor system where guests keep track of their own tab.

Weddings

Imagine a casual tiki-torch ceremony on the beach at sunset or atop Mt. Alvernia, the tiny hermitage built by Father Jerome Hawes, the backdrop to a beautiful wedding meant to last a lifetime. Whether it’s just the two of you or a handful of friends and relatives, a special wedding package can be arranged to meet your expectations. The local Reverend or the Island’s Administrator will perform the wedding vows, a simple ceremony tailored to your request.
