ACCOMMODATION AT CORAL REEF CLUB:side-tvroom

This lovely and spacious hotel contains just 88 rooms, cottages and suites which are set amidst the beautiful gardens spread across 12 acres of land.

FACILITIES:
All rooms are individually decorated and have wall safes, CD player/clock radios, overhead fans, fridges and hair dryers. Bathrooms have tubs and showers. King size beds are available upon request.

AIR CONDITIONING:
All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning units. In addition ceiling fans operate in all rooms. The hotel is cool and comfortable. Tropical winds blow steadily most of the year and in the winter season evenings can be cool, after a day of sun.

TELEVISION:
Rental of a television and a video plus 7 tapes is available as an option at an additional charge of $140 US per week. Barbados has its own Television Broadcasting and Production System called the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation. It provides a variety of European and American drama, current affairs and entertainment productions.

We also have a Television Lounge on the property equipped with satellite television where guests can view from a selection of different channels such as CNN,TNT,HBO,BBC,etc.

GARDEN ROOMS/COTTAGES:Air-conditioned rooms and cottages each consisting of a king size or twin bedded room, private bathroom and patio or balcony. These rooms/cottages are garden view and can accommodate two adults. We also have four air-conditioned Single Garden Rooms which can only accommodate one adult. They are not as large as double rooms, containing a double bed, private bathroom and patio or balcony.

SUPERIOR OR LUXURY JUNIOR SUITES:Air-conditioned junior suite style accommodation with large king size or twin bedded room, with sitting area within bedroom,luxurious bathroom and large patio or balcony. These Suites can accommodate two adults.

Superior Junior Suites are located in the gardens.
Luxury Junior Suites are located in the front half of the property leading towards the sea.

LUXURY COTTAGES/SUITES: Air-conditioned Cottages on ground floor or Suites on first floor consisting of king or twin bedded room, dressing area and en-suite bathroom with separate shower and tub. Separate air-conditioned living room with sofa bed, wrap around balcony and private plunge pool. Can accommodate either three adults or two adults and two children. Located in the front half of the property leading towards the sea.

TWO BEDROOM ACCOMMODATION: . Combinations available are two Garden Rooms/Cottages, one Superior Junior Suite and one Garden Room, two Luxury Junior Suites or two Luxury Cottages/Suites.

VILLAS: Tamarind (2 doubles, 2 singles & 2 bathrooms): Situated in the gardens next to a shared swimming pool, this villa has two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and two singles. It also has a kitchen, spacious living room and large terrace with chaise lounges and dining area leading to a large private lawn.

Ixora (3 doubles,1 single, 3 bathrooms & 1 shower room): Situated in the gardens next to a shared swimming pool, this villa has a luxurious Master Suite with private patio and large air-conditioned bathroom with separate bath and shower. It also has two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a single room with en suite shower room. This villa also has a kitchen, spacious living room with television, video player, CD player and a large terrace with chaise lounges and dining area leading to a large private lawn.

LUXURY PLANTATION SUITES:

The five Luxury Plantation Suites are very luxurious accommodations. They consist of a bedroom with a four poster or canopied bed, very spacious living room, a dressing area and a large bathroom with a big walk-in shower and separate tub - all air-conditioned.

There is a large covered terrace and open sundeck area with a pool which is 12 feet long and 9 feet wide.

Featured in the living room is a fax machine, television, video player, CD player and a selection of CDs and videos. There is also a complimentary starter bar.

These suites have views of the sea and accommodate two adults. Three of these suites have king size beds and two can convert from king to twin beds, if required. MORE INFORMATION

The restaurant overlooks the calm Caribbean sea in an open terrace of elegant and refined decor. The "A La Carte" dinner menus change daily offering choices of fresh seafood and dishes combining classical French cuisines with the exotic herbs and spices of the Caribbean.

Executive Chef Graham Licorish heads a team of professional chefs some of whom have experience in some of the finest European and Caribbean restaurants.

BAR AND LOUNGE

The tastefully designed bar and lounge is just one of the many places for you to relax and enjoy cool tropical drinks. Coral Reef Club is infamous for its Rum Punch / Planter's Punch as being the best on the island along with its blended fruit cocktails such as the Banana Punch or the popular Fruit Punch.

ENTERTAINMENT

We offer live entertainment every evening during the winter and 4 evenings per week during the summer. This ranges from Calypso, Steel Band, Jazz, piano to dance from the popular melodies past and present.

We have our weekly cocktail party hosted at the O'Hara family home every Monday night, followed by a sumptuous West Indian/International buffet. On a Thursday night we offer a full choice barbecue serving sirloin steak, marinated chicken, veal and pork ribs, lamb chops, fish kebabs and fresh fish steak burgers. This is followed by a floor show featuring limbo and fire eating!

The dress code is elegantly informal year round however during the Winter it is cooler in the evenings for those who still like to dress up. Only on Christmas Night and New Year’s Eve are Black Tie or a Jacket and Tie requested. Absolutely no shorts, jeans or T-shirts are allowed in the restaurant in the evening. During the day no swimsuits are permitted in the lounge or restaurant.

HEALTH/BEAUTY SHOP & HAIRDRESSING SALON

We have a Health/Beauty Shop & Hairdressing Salon on the property which offers massages, facials, wax treatments and spa treatments. Our outstanding masseuse, Mathilde Scherr, had an excellent mention in the Sunday Times.

There is also a Hairdressing Salon on the property which offers manicures, pedicures, eyelash and eyebrow tinting and shaping, wax treatments, specialized cutting, blow drying and colouring.

SOUVENIR SHOP AND BOUTIQUE

There is a boutique on the property selling ladies and children's clothing, sundries, etc.
