The most exciting and enticing new restaurant to open in Barbados in recent years, La Mer should be high on the list of anybody wishing to enjoy a wonderful dining experience right on the edge of the Port St. Charles lagoon. Sunday Lunch at La Mer is an experience which should not be missed.
Hair Dressing and Beauty Salon
A salon offering cuts, colour and styling for ladies and gents as well as manicure, pedicure, facials, massages and waxing are all offered as well. Book early to look your best!
Sunset Island
Our Sunset Island is a picturesque island with a swimming pool and bar for the use of owners and residents. A light lunch is served daily, happy hours make it a great place to meet your friends relax and watch the sun set on an evening.
Exercise Room
A fully equipped, air-conditioned exercise room is available for the use of residents and guests. Cardio-vascular equipment, weight machines and free weights are offered. The room is open 24 hours a day. Personal trainers available on request.
Tennis Courts
There are two flood-lit tennis courts, located at the south end of the property. There is no charge for the use of the courts. A limited number of Raquets are available for loan and there are balls for sale. Bookings are necessary.
The Coconut Beach Bar
Located on the Offshore Breakwater, the Coconut Bar provides drinks and light meals daily until 10pm. The bar sits on a man made beach that has a boardwalk between the beach and the sea. A staircase for easy access in and out of the sea to the marked off area for safe swimming complements the many lounge chairs for tanning. A very popular spot for having a drink and watching the sun set on an evening.
Berthing Facilities
Port St. Charles has six mega-yacht berths located on the offshore breakwater that can accomodate yachts up to 250ft. We also have two offshore anchoring mooring buoys that can accomodate yachts in excess of 250ft.
We are an official port of entry with Immigration, customs, coastguard and police.
