Settlers
Beach is located on the exclusive west coast of Barbados just north
of Holetown and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants.
Also close by are banks, post office, supermarkets and an array
of interesting shops and boutiques.
The twenty-two 2-bedroom cottages are arranged in a horseshoe shape
in 4 acres of lush, tropical gardens and manicured lawns bordering
a magnificent sandy beach lapped by the crystal clear waters of
the Caribbean Sea. Settlers Beach is just 12 km (7.5 miles) from
the capital city of Bridgetown and 29 km (18 miles) from the airport. |

| ROOM FEATURES |

Set
in 4 acres of tropical gardens, Settlers Beach comprises 22 two-bedroom
tastefully decorated luxury villas, perfectly tailored for carefree
holiday living. Each villa has two air conditioned bedrooms fitted
with hairdryers, clock radios and personal safes as well as ensuite
bathrooms. The living and dining areas are spacious and the kitchens
well equipped.
The
villas come in two styles: single storey with a central patio/atrium
or two-storey with an upper level balcony. There is also a one-bedroom,
self-contained apartment with a balcony. The emphasis at Settlers
Beach is on peace and tranquility. The 22 villas are set far enough
apart to ensure privacy and comfort, yet close enough to be neighbourly. |

| HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES |
FACILITIES: Settlers
Beach offers a range of facilities to accommodate the needs of our
guests:
- Restaurant
From
November 1, 2002, Starfish (The Seafood Restaurant) will be
in operation at Settlers. It will be open daily for breakfast,
lunch and dinner. It's picturesque location overlooking the
crescent-shaped beach is a perfect setting for the imaginative
cuisine prepared.
- Cocktail
Party
The weekly manager's cocktail party provides guests with the
perfect opportunity to meet fellow guests and management at
sunset.
- Pool
The large freshwater swimming pool surrounded by terraces and
swaying palms provides a perfect place to relax with a good
book.
- Watersports
Watersports are available from the beach and swimming lessons
can be arranged in the pool with our own "in-house"
instructor.
- Tennis
Guests staying with us can use the tennis facilities at the
Sugar Hill Club.
- Gym
All guests staying with us can use the gym facilities complimentary
at the West One Fitness Studio located in the West Mall, Holetown.
- Golf
Golf is only a 5 minute drive from Settlers Beach.
- Television
Lounge
Our new airconditioned television lounge is located next to
the restaurant and is accessible to all in house guests.
- Activities
The Front Desk can arrange a great variety of activities and
also book such things as island tours, car rentals and day excursions
to neighbouring islands.
- Nannies/Babysitters
Nannies and baby-sitters can be easily arranged, so you can
relax and enjoy your vacation!
