The Blackbird Caye Resort sits on two miles of jungle and beach nestled among hundreds of coconut trees. You are met by resort staff at the Belize International Airport for a 20 minute ride to our dock in Belize City. There you will board their fast 50 foot transfer vessel for the spectacular 32 mile trip to Blackbird Caye Resort.

STANDARD CABANAS
Enjoy their oceanfront private, air-conditioned cabanas with private porch and swinging hammock cooled by natural trade winds, facing the eastern Caribbean Sea. Each cabana has a ceiling fan, one or two beds, nightstand and closet area. The baths are modern and equipped with hot showers.

DELUXE CABANAS
More spacious, each suite has a private bedroom with king bed, ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit. The living room has chairs, loveseat and table as well as mini-refrigerator, making it great for entertaining or relaxing. These oceanfront cabanas have a fabulous porch with hammock and chairs.

THE TIPLEX
Features a huge shared front porch facing the Caribbean Sea. Each of the three private rooms is air-conditioned and has a private bath and two double beds. These units are perfect for families and groups.

THE DUPLEX
Has a large shared front porch facing the sea. Each of the two private units also feature air-conditioning, private baths and two double double beds.

DINING
At the front of the main dock is our huge palapa syle restaurant and lounge area. Fresh island cuisine is prepared with native foods by our chef and served by a gracious staff, friendly and eager to serve you.

DIVING
Blackbird Caye Resort offers true world class diving. The diving sites are considered some of the best in the Western Caribbean. The visibility often ranges from 100 to 150 feet. Turneffe Atoll is the only Caribbean Atoll made up of dozens of mangrove islands which are the juvenile nurseries for coral reefs.

FISHING
Turneffe Atoll is known worldwide for incredible flats fishing. The grand slam of fly fishing (tarpon, permit and bonefish) is a realistic goal here. Trolling on the outside of the reef is great for wahoo, grouper, barracuda, jacks, and mackerel. Offshore fishing could net you wahoo, sailfish, marlin, and more. If you're into casual fishing, throw a line from the dock to schools of bonefish and snapper.

SNORKELING
Their Snorkel/Vacation packages feature two boat trips per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. For the hardy that wish to do more, they can take kayaks out to the reef that is only 200-300 yards from shore. There we have tie-down buoys to secure the kayaks so that you are hands free to snorkel the day away.

KAYAKING
Feel free to explore Blackbird Caye Lagoon and the surrounding reefs in our complimentary single and double kayaks, available for your boating pleasure.
