Soulshine Resort & Spa is a small intimate resort. We are the only resort in the village of Placencia, Belize with the uniqueness of the ability to be located on a private island yet after crossing a small inlet from the ocean be a five minute walk to the laid back village of Placencia. The five spacious authentic, local thatched cabanas are aesthetically pleasing and well equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, fresh water, full bath, air conditioning and a relaxing front porch to sit and watch the world go by. Each cabana is uniquely decorated and have different bedding configurations.

Our Tropical Soulshine Relaxation Baths* is our signature treatment that is a must to help you relax and feel the presence of all the local herbs and fauna. This Bathing Experience recaptures the bathing traditions of the ancient Mayan using our own special local herbal waters which will be an integral part of your spa visit. The ritual, which is intended to be a 45- to 60-minute cycle, is experienced in our stunning new ocean front spa. Beginning with an exfoliation and moving to a warm tub soak, a cooling shower, to a relaxing therapeutic massage. Your bathing ritual ends by a cool down and relaxation period in the resting patio overlooking the Caribbean Sea after you drink a large glass of water to properly re-hydrate.
