DIVING: White Sands Dive Shop is a PADI International Resort Association Member specializing in daily full-service diving, instruction and snorkeling from its home base at White Sands Cove Resort, ideally situated a quarter mile off shore from the largest living barrier reef in this hemisphere. White Sands Dive Shop is operated by PADI staff instructor Elbert Greer. Our local diving and snorkeling scheduled departures are 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Full certification and Discover Scuba Diving courses (Resort Courses), taught by Elbert, begin with a short lesson in our pool and are followed by a shallow dive at the famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve. In addition to local dives, we also offer full day excursions to Belize ’s renowned offshore atolls including the Turneffe Reef Atoll and The Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef. These full day excursions include three dives as well as continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks. Night dives are also available upon request.
