HOTEL DESCRIPTION

9 Beaches is Bermuda's newest and most casual resort. Here you'll have 84 chic cabanas from which to choose. Spread over 18 private waterfront acres on the western-most tip of Bermuda makes it "official" - 9 Beaches is the closest Bermuda resort to the United States.

During the day the Resort's clear blue Bermuda waters make it perfect for every kind of water sports activity. You see, they are surrounded on three sides by water and a neighboring dairy farm that provides fresh milk to Bermuda.

Relax by simply lying in the sun on one of their nine beaches and enjoy a totally unhurried Bermuda vacation.

And as day draws to a close, grab a cocktail and your "consort" and experience some of the most magnificent and memorable sunsets anywhere on earth.

Bermuda, a British territory, is known as one of the world's most sophisticated and civilized islands with one of the highest standards of living, interesting history and culture, and the friendliest and most welcoming residents.

With 9 Beaches, Bermuda now has a truly relaxing tropical resort where you can really kick-back, throw off your shoes, and feel the sand between your toes.

And, this amazing getaway is closer than you think - just two hours from most East Coast cities!

ROOM FEATURES

All 84 private cabanas sit on stilts and all have a view of the Atlantic ocean. The cabanas dot the hillsides of the peninsula with some located right on their beaches. A few are actually built out over the water and are connected by boardwalks. All the cabanas have wooden deck floors and those directly over the water have plexi-glass windows (2'x4') in the floor so you can see their tropical fish swim by.

Each soft-sided cabana feels very open with lots of windows and French doors that open to a spacious veranda facing the water. Window screens keep Mother Nature out while ceiling fans and tropical off-shore breezes help keep you comfortable inside. For those of you who need an extra dose of cool, air conditioning is available in all cabanas.

Now some folks have called their rooms "luxury tents," however they prefer to call them cabanas. Up on stilts, ocean views, air conditioning, small bathroom and more make these way too cool to be called tents. Cabanas it is!

The cabanas are incredibly sturdy structures with aluminum frames and double walls of an extremely durable space-age soft-sided sailcloth-like material proven to withstand high winds.

Need proof? For any lawyer reading this, when hurricane Fabian had a direct hit on Bermuda in September 2003 everyone was amazed at how their cabanas faired far better than many big hotels on the island.

Just so you know, the roofs are also made of this same soft-sided sailcloth-like material. They have it on good authority that at night when it rains, the sound on the sailcloth roof is oh so romantic. But then again, you be the judge.

Paradise Pier Cabanas (6)

The deepest water at the Resort, branching off on the pier, jutting out towards Daniels Head Island. Standing over the water on stilts, all with viewing panels (2'x4') in the floor that reveal tropical fish underfoot. Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Top Banana Cabanas (10)

Scattered around the coastline, stilted in the water or on the sea rocks with the tide coming in and out. All with viewing panels (2'x4') in the floor that reveal tropical fish underfoot. Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Aqua Vista Cabanas (18)

Right at the water's edge surrounding the perimeter of the resort; anchored on seaside rocks, beach or Cliffside on stilts. Offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sea Forever Cabanas (28)

Set back slightly from the water's edge on stilts, offering unobstructed ocean views from the verandah; located close to the beach areas.

Coco Coral Cabanas (19)

Set back from the waters edge on stilts - dotting the bluffs and nine coves, with partial ocean and coastline views.

Cabana Furnishings

The cabanas are comfortably furnished--a small bathroom with shower, a queen size bed, a futon sofa that doubles as a second sleeping place, plus a table and two chairs inside. Plus, two more lounge chairs and a cocktail table outdoors on your verandah.

Ceiling fans and tropical breezes maintain comfortable temperatures. Air conditioning is also available to aid in cooling after sunset.

You'll also find a fridge and hair dryer. They think you'll love it!
