The Cottage Rooms at Cambridge Beaches offer a rare retreat from the matters of the world, to a timeless place where serenity and passion reign. There are four types of Bermuda Cottage Rooms offered at Cambridge Beaches:

Standard Gardenview

Relax in their standard bedroom, decorated with colorful fabrics and comfortable furnishings and featuring a marble bathroom and a private terrace or patio with garden views. Every accommodation is uniquely designed and decorated, featuring private patios and/or terraces overlooking beautiful gardens.

Standard Waterview

Rejoice in their standard water view bedroom, replete with fine textures and artfully selected decor, also featuring a marble bathroom and a private terrace or patio with serene water views.

Deluxe

Retreat to a delightfully spacious room that features refined traditional furnishings, a sitting and dressing area, a marble bathroom and a private terrace or patio that offers a lovely water view.

Deluxe Premium

Linger in a resplendent accommodation with traditional or contemporary decor, featuring a sitting and dressing area, a large marble bathroom and a sumptuous whirlpool tub. All of their Deluxe Premium rooms offer a stunning water view and some can connect with other rooms.

Presenting an array of tantalizing options at glorious locations, from international and French infused cuisine at the Tamarisk Room overlooking Mangrove Bay, to the casual open-air beach-front restaurant Breezes, to the poolside Shutters café, Cambridge Beaches understands the importance of great taste.

They pride their selves on international cuisine mixed with local flavors, featuring an abundance of fresh seafood, local vegetables, and fresh herbs. FITNESS CENTER:

Work yourself into a whole new state of mind, at the Cambridge Beaches Fitness Center, located in the Aquarian Baths on the upper level of the Ocean Spa. The Fitness Center features a variety of equipment, including treadmills, steppers, ellipticals and recumbent bicycles. Just outside the center you’ll discover a roman-style relaxation pool a “Swimex” lap pool, and a private whirlpool bath. Savor your endorphins after your workout, and treat yourself to a spa treatment at the Ocean Spa, featuring The Experience Suites—an Aroma Steam Room, Crystal Mist Room, Herbal Sauna & Experience Shower.

WATER ACTIVITIES:

Sailing/Boating
Boating options abound! Captivating snorkeling trips, fun glass bottom boat cruises, tranquil evening cruises and romantic sunset sail – there is an excursion for everyone! Or be your own Captain and rent a motorboat to explore picturesque Ely’s Harbour and the Great Sound. Always a favorite of Cambridge guests!

Snorkeling & Scuba
The island of Bermuda is entirely surrounded by reefs and those reefs caused many a captain to lose his ship while sailing on the famous gold runs from the Caribbean to Europe. As a result there are almost as many wrecks as there are days of the year, many in shallow waters. Scuba diving is thus varied, offering opportunities for shallow and deeper dives. Learn to dive, or partake of the many different opportunities available. It’s even possible to do night dives. You won’t want to miss the opportunity of seeing the extraordinary variety of marine life, the spectacular colours and the clear waters. Easily arranged for you through our concierge. And if you want to stay on the surface, check out snorkeling gear from our own marina and explore the coastline around Cambridge. Hang suspended and gaze upon a rainbow of coloured fish and other reef dwellers – you don’t have to leave Cambridge to enjoy fabulous snorkeling but if you want to explore further afield we can advise you on other great places to experience Bermuda’s water wonderland.

Fishing
Bermuda’s waters are home to a wide range of fish, some lovely to look at, others great for sport. From the shores of Cambridge Beaches, try casting for the elusive and mighty fighter, the bonefish, rent a motorboat and look for a variety of rockfish or other reef dwellers, or sign on with our reef fishing captain that leaves from the dock next door to our property. For the game fisher, there are many wonderful game fish opportunities, which include marlin, tuna, mako shark, barracuda and wahoo. Records have been set in Bermuda! Beyond Bermuda’s reef line are two seamounts that rise to within 30 fathoms, attracting a wonderful selection of both game fish and good-eating bottom dwellers. The opportunities are almost limitless and we will be delighted to make the arrangements for you.
