| PGA Grand Slam of Golf
October 16 – 17, 2007
The PGA Grand Slam of Golf, the season-ending showcase featuring golf's premier foursome, will for the first time in history, take place in Bermuda. The event will be hosted by The Mid Ocean Club, and The Fairmont Southampton and will be contested on Oct. 16-17, 2007. Boasting the most difficult qualification requirement in the game -- a major championship -- the 36-hole PGA Grand Slam of Golf will surely yield incredible play by the world’s top golfers.
In 2007, the winners of the year's Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship will earn the right to compete on the 6,520-yard, par-70 layout that was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald in 1921, and modified in the 1950s by the late Robert Trent Jones Sr.
The Mid Ocean Club received a No. 45 ranking by Golf Digest for courses outside the United States and has hosted such heads of state as Presidents George H.W. Bush and Dwight Eisenhower; Winston Churchill, The Duke of Windsor, as well as baseball icon Babe Ruth.
Join us in Bermuda to cheer on the world’s top players as they compete for the 25th edition of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. |
