The Package
Discover Chile's sprawling capital Santiago with this interesting panoramic tour, admiring some of the famous sights such as the elegant Plaza de Armas, Cathedral and La Moneda Presidential. You will pass the main pedestrian streets of Huerfanos and Ahumada, the National Library and Santa Lucia Hill, where Santiago was founded on 12th February 1541. You will also be taken to the Bellavista District, the artistic and nightlife centre of Santiago: streets are lined with galleries, open air cafes and restaurants. You will also be able to enjoy the fantastic views from San Cristobal Hill and the districts of Vitacura Las Condes and Providencia. Santiago is also a good base in which to explore Chile's lengthy coastline and the second half of this package will take you to Vina del Mar, South America's sophisticated summer resort. Located 85 miles west of Santiago, it is also known as the 'Garden City' due to its beautiful gardens and avenues filled with flowering trees and palms. You will then move onto Valpraiso, Chile's primary trading harbour and one of the world's most picturesque ports. The city is interesting to wander around and full of open air cafes, restaurants and shopping malls, as well as casinos and bars. The package includes three nights in a four to five star hotel with return transfers to Santiago airport.
