The Hotel Casa Medina was built in 1945 by don Santiago Medina, the first owner of the premises, who artistically combined the traditional trends of the Spanish and French architecture, conferring it a unique design.
Hotel Casa Medina was declared a national monument in 1985, undergoing a careful and exciting restoration to become Bogota´s most exclusive and elegant hotel. Wrought iron railings and banisters, stone walls and pillars, hand carved wood ceilings and veneers create a delightfully warm atmosphere, decorated with classic and antique furniture. |
