ROOM FEATURES
The Britannia Hotel is divided in two parts, one is the old house which contains five Deluxe rooms, five Jr. Suites, as well as the restaurant which occupies what was once the old wine cellar of the house, appropriately named "The Cellar". The new part of the Hotel consists of a four-story addition containing 13 Standard rooms.
The Standard rooms all have: TV with cable, telephone, private bathroom with bathtub, hot water, safe deposit box and either one king size bed or two twin beds. The Deluxe and Jr. Suite rooms have, in addition to all of the items stated for the Standard rooms, a desk, hair dryer in the bathroom, air conditioner and either one king size bed or two queen size beds.

RESTAURANT AND BAR: The old wine cellar was remodeled into the Hotel's restaurant (capacity: 60). It is open for breakfast and dinner. The restaurant specializes in international cuisine and serves a wide variety of delicious dishes. The bar serves any type of mixed drinks, as well as beer and wine.
CONFERENCE ROOM: The conference room has a capacity of 25 people, and is equipped with T.V., V.H.S., overhead projectors, chalkboards and private bathroom.

LOCATION
The Britannia Hotel is situated in the heart of Barrio Amón, a zone possessing great architectural beauty due to the fact that it was the home to much of San José's high class. The hotel is centrally located 25 minutes from the international airport and just six blocks from downtown San José, so as to be close to the many tourist attractions, banks, post office, transport services and the best nightlife spots that San José has to offer.
