HOTEL SPA: Opening in late 2005, the Parque del Lago Hotel will offer a small, yet well-equipped gym. Not only can you stay in shape but also relax in our adjoining Jacuzzi. Professional massage services will be offered as well.
HOTEL SERVICES: The Parque del Lago Hotel offers all services pertaining to a business hotel enhanced by other convenient benefits, making your stay a comfortable and satisfactory one.
Anywhere within the hotel, cost-free, wireless internet and e-mail are available as well as fax services from the front desk. Three elegantly furnished, well-illuminated event rooms provide optimal space for all kinds of occasions. Two of these rooms can be divided into smaller rooms, providing a tailored space for your event’s needs. All meals and coffee breaks are included. The hotel offers 24-hour guarded parking service, for an approximate capacity of 50 cars.
Our newly renovated Iconos Restaurant and Bar offers international classics in a contemporary ambiance, enhanced by the friendly service of our staff, characteristic of our hotel.
Laundry and room service are both available. And when you are ready to take a break and see Costa Rica, our competent front desk personnel will appropriately advice you on varied tour packages. Currency exchange is possible at the front desk.

BUSINESS TRAVEL: The Parque del Lago Hotel’s optimal location, expedient services and cost-free wireless internet connections are all key points on today’s business traveler’s list. Sitting at the doorway to the city of San Jose, the Parque del Lago Hotel boasts one of the best hotel locations in the city. Major shopping districts and business centers are only a 5 to 10 minute drive away, while the Juan Santamaria International Airport is a 15 minute drive on the Inter American Highway, also located only 2 minutes from the hotel’s doorstep. While the hotel has a strategic city location, it also enjoys a bit of nature from the adjoining 72-hectare green, known as the La Sabana Metropolitan Park. Just across the street from the hotel, La Sabana’s forested fields have helped to clean up the quite polluted air of San Jose. Snaking trails provide for nice long walks, while numerous jogging paths wind under shady eucalyptus trees. The park has good volleyball and basketball courts as well as nicely grassed soccer and baseball fields. There is also an Olympic size pool providing a special swimming slot from 10 a.m. to 2p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, designed for the needs of the business segment, looking for a moment to unwind and exercise. Tennis courts are located on the southeastern corner of the park and are open to the public at large.
RESTAURANTS & DINING: San Jose ’s restaurant selection has become a truly varied international cornucopia, abundant with anything from Lebanese cuisine to traditional Costa Rican food.
Parque del Lago’s newly renovated Iconos Restaurant offers a fresh, contemporary atmosphere with non-pretensious, honest international food, spiced with certain trademarks of Costa Rican cuisine such as Gallo Pinto or casado. Great starters are our Spanish Omelette and Teriyaki Chicken Strips. Our sandwiches and burgers are made with only the freshest ingredients while our Sirloin Medallions served with a spicy green pepper sauce is a highly recommendable main course. And because life wouldn’t be anything without sweets try our lovely Passion Fruit Mousse.
Every morning enjoy the generous breakfast buffet, offering Latin American and international favorites.
Lunch is served buffet style offering a salad bar, soup of the day and the choice of two main courses. Don’t forget desert or a delicious cappuccino or espresso.
Afternoons, take a brake, while striking up some good conversation at our tardes de café or coffee afternoons. Savor a good cup of Costa Rican coffee with your favorite pastry.
The Iconos bar offers tropical drinks, classic cocktails and a select wine and beer list. Don’t miss our classic Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. , giving you a free boca or appetizer with your first drink, as is often the custom here in Costa Rica
