After the conclusion of its restructuring in June 1999 Hotel Sisimiut was classified as a four star hotel- and conference center. We now offer 20 single rooms, 12 double rooms and 6 two-room suites.

The hotel's restaurant, the Nasaasaaq, has the reputation of being one of the best in Greenland.

The hotel's conference section has the disposal of several new conference rooms and seminar rooms where smaller groups can work undisturbed. The layout and the equipment are some of the most modern in Greenland.

SUITES

On the fourth floor we have designed 6 two-room suites with a splendid view of Sisimiut. The suites are tastefully laid out with high quality furniture, a large bathroom as well as a seperate bedroom. The suites are ideal for persons in charge of conferences, businessmen and busy civil servants or those guests who want a little more luxury and a little more space.

The three new conference rooms are fitted up with state of the art technology and teaching facilities. All rooms are equiped with white boards, sound absorption equipment, blackout curtains, mechanical ventilation plants and intercommunication systems well suited for conference calls.

Naturally, the seminar and conference center has photo copying machines, computer linked overhead projectors, television, video and wide screens with loud speakers linked to parabolic reflectors at its disposal.

Conference room 1
Laid out with 16 conference tables and 32 padded conference chairs with arm rests.

Conference room 2
Laid out as an IT-center with 10 working tables and matching chairs. Conference room 2 can also be converted into a conference room for 15 participants. In this case it will be laid out with 8 conference tables and 15 padded chairs with arm rests.

Conference room 3
Laid out with 12 conference tables and 24 padded chairs.

Congress- and assembly hall
Furthermore, the hotel disposes of a large congress- and assembly hall which seats 60 persons as well as 3 seminar rooms that seat 6, 8 and 12 participants respectively.
