Mai Tai Bar : one of the most "happening" places in Waikiki. Mai Tais supposedly originated here! Imagine drinking a perfect Mai Tai while looking at the beautiful Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head... that moment is alone is worth the trip!
Royal Hawaiian Beach Club : relax by the beach for breakfast, light lunch or afternoon snacks. The Beach Club Cafe is located by the pool and serves soft drinks and cocktails.
Afternoon Tea : enjoy a relaxed afternoon of tea and beautiful views of the Coconut Grove. Royal Tea is a 75-year old tradition at the Royal Hawaiian. Just like years ago, a kimono-clad server will present you with a delectable selection of signature tea blends, finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and cookies. You can also enjoy live classic and etnic music by "Bamboo and Rosewood", a popular guitar-and-flute duo. Served 1-4pm.
The Royal Hawaiian Luau : your evening begins with a traditional lei greetings, sound of Hawaiian melodies and refreshing Mai Tais on the Ocean Lawn. As the sun goes down, you are invited to taste food from the Islands, including specialties like Teriyaki Beef and Island Style fish, salads and desserts. Then you will be shown the spectacular Royal Polynesian Extravaganza, with pulsating authentic songs and dances. The luau is offered every Monday.
OTHER FACILITIES : Stop in on the third floor for a refreshing swim, enjoy a cool tropical beverage at the Ginger Terrace, experience the excitement of a Polynesian Revue at the Hawaiian Hut, or dance the night away at Rumours. It's a short walk to the Ala Moana Shopping Center, with over 200 stores and restaurants. Just beyond, lies beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park.
