HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Point Village is located on the Caribbean, in the town of Negril in Jamaica, only 90 minutes from the Donald Sangster airport and less than 5 minutes from the Negril Aerodrome.

It is called the Point Village because of its Jamaican village-like atmosphere and the fact that is is located on picturesque rugged point where Negril's famous seven mile beach ends and spectacular Bloody Bay Beach begins.

ROOM FEATURES

The resort caters to singles, couples, families and groups. The 150 air-conditioned rooms (comprising of studios, superior studios, junior suites, one bedroom suites and two and three bedroom townhouses) are all equipped with satellite television, kitchenette, telephone, balcony/patio and have a view of either the Caribbean Sea or lush manicured gardens.

Point Village has150 apartments comprising of studios, superior studios, junior suites, one bedroom suites, two and three bedroom townhouses. All accommodations feature air conditioning, Satellite TV and Kitchenettes. All have balconies or patios and spectacular views of the ocean or our lush tropical gardens. We have a wide variety of accommodations to fit any budget and any size family.

Studio garden view rooms have either two twin beds or one queen bed while Superior Studios, located exclusively on our top floors, have two double beds. Bathrooms in our studio and superior studios have shower only.

Junior Suites are spacious rooms with either two twin beds or one queen bed and a sitting area en suite.Bathrooms in these rooms have shower and bath.

One-Bedrooms garden and ocean view have a queen bed in the bedroom and a single size day bed in the living room area. All our one-bedrooms have shower and bath.

Two-Bedroom townhouses have one bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with twin beds and two single size day beds in the living room area. In these duplex units, one bathroom has shower and bath while the other has shower only. Three bedroom townhouses have an additional bedroom and bathroom (with shower and bath).

HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES

RESORT ACTIVITIES: Point Village boasts a Freshwater pool and Jacuzzi, and three natural salt water rock pools. Land sports include beach volleyball and a tennis court. There are a wide variety of watersports available on the property and lots of activities for Children.

Guest Services: A gift shop, duty free store, a logo shop, a commissary and a full service beauty salon are located on premises. Beach towels are available poolside. Our Tour Desk and Internet room are located off the main lobby.

Water Sports: Our Watersports shop is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

FAMILY & KIDS: Point Village also offers a Children's Center. We welcome children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. There is a wide variety of age appropriate children's programs available including video amusements and user friendly educational activities, in addition to treasure hunts, sand castle-building contests, nature walks, reggae/calypso dance classes, face painting, etc.) water sports (snorkeling and windsurfing), glass bottom boat and nightly entertainment. Baby sitting is available at an additional charge. Arrangements must be made 24 hours in advance.

RESTAURANT & BAR: Dine casually in cafes overlooking the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea or sample local and international cuisine at the Village Connection restaurant. Local liquors and exciting mixed drinks are served with warm smiles at the three bars.

The Village Connection restaurant serves Jamaican and International cuisine buffet style and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On Wednesday night dinner is on the Main beach for the resort's Jamaican Beach party. Friday nights come alive with casually elegant dining under the stars for "Romance de Point". The resort's two waterside cafes are the Sundrenched Bar and Grill and the Paradise Garden Cafe. Sundrenched Bar and Grill offers a water-side grill for a casual lunch as well as late night snacks. Our Jamaican restaurant is located here and is open for a la carte dining nightly except on Wednesday.

Paradise Garden Café-is open daily except Tuesday and Friday's for dinner and serves Pizza & Pasta a la carte.
