There are two seasons with not precisely marked transitions.

A wetter season called " wintering " from July to October, accompanied by periods of frequent and intense rains. The season of the tropical depressions and hurrican begin about July. The cyclones can be formed on the Atlantic. These extremely violent phenomena are more present in the Northern part of the West-Indian arc. Martinique, located in the middle of the arc, can be concerned by these phenomena.
