The resort offers different lodging options located by the beach, on top of hills with outstanding sea view, and houses surrounded by trees. The resort offers Bungalows from 2 to 4 guests and houses from 5 to 10 guests, all of them equipped with kitchen and its equipments.

Puesta del Sol Restaurant

The restaurant "Puesta del Sol" (sunset) is situated right at the seashore of the Coconut Beach. Every evening it offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean sunset. It offers Nicaraguan and international dishes as well as Austrian specialties.

Activities

Enjoy unique activities on the beach or at the surrounding areas of Parque Marítimo el Coco like; Football, Volleyball, Frisbee, horse or bicycle riding to the nearby villas or into the jungle to observe Black Howler monkeys (Alouatta caraya), birds, butterflies, and other kinds of animals. At night you can visit “playa la Flor”, a sanctuary for endanger marine turtles. On nesting periods of the marine turtle “Paslama” (Lepidochelys oliveacea) you can observe up to 20,000 turtles on a period of time of four days. During the day you can take a boat tour nearby “playa la flor” and “playa el Coco” where marine turtles can be seen mating. With a bit of luck you can see dolphins or whales on some periods of the year. Another tour you can take is to “Bolaños” island on the boundaries of Costa Rica and Nicaragua, a sanctuary for frigatebirds (Fregata magnificens) and other marines birds like pelicans. You will get to the nesting sites where baby birds are getting out of the eggs.
