This massive arrival of paslama sea tortoise is a phenomenon occurring on very few beaches world wide. Nature lovers will also enjoy the near by jungles which serve as home for groups of small apes called Congos, and for small white faced monkeys.

Restaurant "Puesta del Sol"
Our restaurant "Puesta del Sol" (sunset) is situated right at the seashore of the Coconut Beach.Every evening it offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean sunset. We offer you Nicaraguan and international dishes as well as Austrian specialties. The restaurant is open 7 days a week. Come and enjoy a fine meal and rest in one of our hammocks in a calm and sound atmosphere. The hacienda "Esperanza", belonging to the Parque supplies the restaurant "Puesta del Sol" with fresh vegetables and fruits of biodegradation. The Restaurant is open daily from 8 am till 8 pm (longer when there are guests for dinner).
