CABANAS EL PARADOR, Boquete is a charming town located in the high lands of the Chiriqui province, republic of panama. It's a valley surrounded of mountains of fertile lands in the hillsides of the inactive Barú volcano; where the wild flowers grow by the shores of the roads crossed from north to south. Bye the majestic and charming Caldera River.
To Boquete you can arrive from Panama City taking a plane in Albrook airport to the city of David (Capital of the Chiriqui province) in an hour approximately. Also, you can travel by comfort buses from Albrook´s Terminal to David´s Terminal. This will takes six hours and a half.Once in David, you could approach a bus that will leave you directly to Boquete in 45 minutes approximately. |

THE PATHS OF THE QUETZALS There is a paradise for the bird's watchers, because in Boquete have been identified 40 types of birds, among them the beautiful Quetzal, which is in risk of extinction. One of the few places of the world where their splendor could be appreciated in everything.
CALDERA'S TOWN is located to few minutes from Boquete where you will find famous colored stones of (archeological importance) and the Thermal Water's Pits.
EXTREME SPORTS If you like extreme sports; there are companies in charge of River Rafting in the rapids of Chiriqui River and Chiriqui Viejo. Also, they rent bicycles and motorcycles.
MAJESTIC BARU VOLCANO that is 3.475 high meters and from its summit can be watched the two oceans, the Atlantic and the Pacific. You can arrive there by different ways: on foot, by horse and there are people that carry you on special four wheels. |
