Golf
The most popular sport in Palmas is Golf! And there is no wondering why! Palmas has two championship golf courses: Flamboyan and Palm Course. Flamboyan, a 7117-yard course, designed by world-renowned golf course architect Rees Jones , was ranked number one in Puerto Rico and among the top 5 golf courses in the Caribbean by Barron’s Magazine for 1999. Palm Course, was originally designed by Masters champion and TV celebrity, Gary Player. The 6667-yard, par 71 course was rated by Gold Digest Magazine as among the best in the world. Situated centrally within the resort, both courses offer challenges to even the most experienced of players - albeit with the beautiful Caribbean Sea as a backdrop!
Tennis
Consisting of over 20 tennis courts, the Palmas del Mar Country Club Tennis Center is considered to be the largest in the Caribbean. With standard, grass and clay courts to choose from, if tennis is your game, then Palmas is the place for you! And if you feel like upgrading that old beat up racket, then head over to the Palmas Tennis Pro shop for the latest in racket technology an sports wear. Beach Club
One of the first private beach clubs in Puerto Rico, the Beach Club at Palmas has much to offer the discriminating visitor. A top-notch restaurant makes this the prefect place to unwind amidst friends and family. Most areas are open to visitors, for a fee, with other areas restricted to Club members only.
3.5 mile long Beach!
The beach at Palmas extends for 3.5 miles along the Caribbean Sea. Lined with palm trees and seagrape, this ribbon of golden sand begins in a crescent-shaped cove, rounds Candelero Point, and then continues north along the coast. There is also the famous Bohio Beach Bar.
Equestrian Center
Palmas also has an equestrian center - Rancho Buena Vista, which offers trail rides through a tropical landscape and down to the beach. No experience needed, guided tours available or ride on your own!

Palmas Marina
If you belong to the yachting crowd, then we've got a great Marina for you. The Palmas marina is a 190-slip deepwater marina with an inner and outer harbor capable of accommodating yachts up to 130 feet.

Learn to snorkel or why not take your first Scuba-diving lesson, and delve into the turquoise blue waters with its colorful corals and engaging sea life.
