Doze away caressed by the vibrant and sweet sound of the waves of the Caribbean Sea and wake up at dawn to witness colossal turtles nesting right in front at your room.
Indulge yourself in their gardened veranda seduced by theirorchid collection
Their thirteen suites face the Caribbean Sea with the Rain Forest rising up Mt Ju to the rear. They can accommodate from four to six persons each.
The furnishings are mostly the work of local craftsmen and artisans, and are available for sale, as are the many different objects in the rooms (from Africa and Asia). Guests are welcome to arrange their furniture to suit their taste and comfort. |

They take the utmost care to ensure that food preparation utilizes the freshest local ingredients, many of which are grown on their organic Estate land. They are renowned for their sweet breads, cakes and breads such as "Coconut Bake", which vary daily and are baked in their kitchen. They also have a wooden brick oven where they prepare special bread and pizzas. Their main dishes rely on fresh seafood as the staple, with other choices including lobster as well as vegetarian specialties. |

| Silently canoe along the Grande Riviere River, discover remote and secluded beaches or hike deep into the rain forest, situated on the Northeast coast of Trinidad, nestled on the beach in the quiet village of Grande Riviere, 88 Kms. from the Piarco International Airport, 116 Km from Port of Spain, far away from the crowds and surrounded by nature at its best.
Car rentals can be arranged, however due to the remoteness of the Mt Plaisir Estate they generally discouraged it and will gladly arrange excursions and airport transfers in their air conditioned Mercedes Benz small coach (max. 6 persons).
THE GIANT LEATHERBACK TURTLES This is the largest nesting site for Leatherbacks in the Western Hemisphere. Every year for thousands of years the rare and endangered Giant Leatherback Turtles navigate the globe and return to this beach in the thousands.
BIRDWATCHING enjoy the largest variety of birds in all Trinidad. Birds can be spotted right outside your back window or in their garden behind the Estate Main House. For the more demanding birdwatchers they are glad to organize excursions in the forest.
THE RAIN FOREST an easy stroll along the Ju-Trail will take you to a breathtaking view of the North Coast. They organize expeditions with their local tour guides, who are well versed in the folklore for the region. |
