Dinner seating begins at 6p.m. with an 8:30 p.m. curtain time. On Sundays, enjoy a Jazz Brunch (seasonal) with seating beginning at 11a.m. with show at 1 p.m., also a musicale Monday evenings at 8 p.m. with a dinner seating at 6:30 p.m.
The Round Table Room is the site of the legendary 10-year Algonquin Round Table lunch -- which featured the wit of Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley, Alexander Woollcott, and other luminaries of the literary world. Our newly restored restaurant evokes memories of a grand parlor. Savor the pleasures of dining on delicious retro dishes drawn from the Algonquin's culinary archives and inspired by legendary owner Frank Case's book, Feeding the Lions . Breakfast is served Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch is served from noon to 3 p.m. daily. Dinner is served Sunday-Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. A pre-theatre prix-fixe menu is available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Sunday brunch is also offered from noon to 3 p.m.
Blue Bar This popular New York bar is decorated with the artwork of longtime Algonquin regular, Al Hirschfeld. The pieces, donated by The Margo Feiden Galleries, feature Broadway shows past and present -- including Rent, The Sound of Music, and Chicago . The menu offers pub fare and a fine selection of wine, cocktails and domestic and imported beer. The Blue Bar is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 am.
Lobby The restored Algonquin Lobby -- with writing desks and antique furniture in deep jewel tones -- still retains the charm and ambiance long associated with this landmark hotel. Intimate arrangements of settees and chairs create the perfect environment for reading, writing, quiet contemplation, or conversation. The Lobby serves cocktails and lighter fare from The Algonquin's appetizer and snack menu.
